Andrew Elf B.Com, FCPA, MBA, GAICD
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Elf was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 20 March 2014.
Mr Elf has over 15 years finance, commercial and operational experience working in various senior roles both in Australia and overseas and was a Financial Director in Indonesia for a top 100 ASX listed company before transitioning into the drilling industry in early 2004.
Mr Elf held several senior roles with Boart Longyear before joining Mitchell Group in March 2010, where he spearheaded the growth of the African business to an annual turnover in excess of $30 million.
Mr Elf has extensive experience managing drilling companies in various regions around the world which have worked for global "Tier 1" mining and energy houses.
Greg Michael Switala BCOM (Hons)(CTA)
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary
Mr Switala joined the Group in April 2014 shortly after the Mitchell Services acquisition in the role of Group Financial Controller. Mr Switala has 6 years' financial accounting and reporting experience in the property and gaming industries and 3 years' experience with KPMG Inc.
Mr Switala has a BCOM (Hons)(CTA) Accounting Sciences Degree and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Todd Wild B.Bus.C
General Manager - Commercial
Todd was appointed General Manager Commercial in October 2015. Todd has held senior business and client relationship management roles in the mining and exploration sector for the past eight years. Prior to joining Mitchell Services, Todd held the role of General Manager Business Development for global mining contractor and civil consultancy, HDR.
Todd has been responsible for developing business growth opportunities across the globe, managing new business and contracts for mining and exploration projects in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Africa, Korea, Indonesia, Sweden, Poland, Fiji, North America and Malaysia.
Todd’s current role at Mitchell covers the full commercial spectrum, including customer relations, contract negotiation, client management, strategic planning and corporate communications.
Josh Bryant B.Sc (Geology), Grad Dip Applied Finance
General Manager - People and Risk
Josh has over 17 years' experience in the resources industry. He has a family history in the drilling industry being the son of a diamond driller and having worked as a drillers offsider. He graduated as a geologist from James Cook University, and has worked in a number of commodities and deposits including large scale open cut, underground mining and exploration environments for copper, gold, uranium and silver. He has a graduate diploma in applied finance, and has extensive experience in diamond drilling and contractor management.
Josh joined Mitchell Services in 2016. Josh has held numerous management roles with BHP Billiton in technical and operational teams and has worked in the area of health, safety and business improvement at the Olympic Dam mine in South Australia. He is passionate about people, workforce diversity and the simplification of systems that support Mitchell Services and its business partners.
Anthony “Nolly” Noll
General Manager - Minerals
Anthony is a highly regarded drilling professional with 25 years in the industry. In a career that spans across all Australian states and territories, Anthony has an extensive knowledge base in surface and underground mineral operations, including diamond, reverse circulation and air core drilling. Anthony has managed large scale near mine programs, remote drilling campaigns and played a key role in the implementation and efficient operation of the first “hands free surface diamond rod handling” system on Rio Tinto and BHPIO sites.
Anthony has a high level of operational and client management capability and has built a reputation for building and maintaining a high-performance team culture. He has long term experience in managerial, technical and administrative aspects of the drilling industry with a strong focus on safety, performance, and improvement opportunities to exceed client expectations.
General Manager - Energy
John began his career in the oil and gas industry as a roughneck where he developed an exceptional understanding of well site safety and cutting edge drilling technology. He has been working in the drilling industry since 2002 and has reached the level of General Manager due to his high level of operational and client management capability.
John’s career has provided him with a thorough technical understanding of coal and onshore gas drilling operations, including large diameter, deep hole exploration, gas drainage and the management of multi-rig programs in challenging environments around the globe.
Throughout his drilling career, John has gained sound experience and lateral exposure to both managerial and administrative aspects of drilling. John demonstrates a commitment to running a safe operation and performing to a high standard, ensuring successful outcomes within agreed time frames.
