Mitchell recently achieved the milestone of 1500 days Lost Time Injury (LTI) free at Anglo American’s Northern Bowen Basin mine and exploration sites. There are currently five surface rigs at NBB, with crews performing a mix of mud rotary, open hole and diamond coring.
